A very comfortable, spotlessly clean, really well equipped cottage. A good peaceful location for the coast and other attractions. Nice, helpful owners and welcome treats were much appreciated. Would recommend Lincolnshire Wildlife Park, Seal Sanctuary, The BoB Memorial Flight Visitor Centre, Lincoln Cathedral & Castle. Also walks at Gibraltar Point, and the great beaches from Chapel Point up to Trusthorpe. Was sad to see Sutton-on-Sea front/prom looking quite tired compared to our last visit, but it appears there is renovation work pending.

Lovely little cottage and very clean. We had an enjoyable stay here - only small disappointments were the lack of wi-fi (we didn't think to look for this prior to booking as most holiday homes have it!) and the kitchen area was very small so would only accommodate one of us at a time. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding was of high quality. Owner very helpful indeed before and during our stay. Very peaceful location and the local pub (Red Lion) serves very tasty food at extremely reasonable prices.

We've had a really great time in Plum Cottage. With 9 year old twins we wondered what they'd do but no problems. They went swimming in Skegness, played badmington 3 times in Alford, loads of beautiful beach walks with the dogs, visited the donkey sanctuary, and the seals in Mablethorpe. The cottage was ideal for them as they had their own lounge upstairs. As the grandparents we visited the Aviation museum, Gunby Hall and we all spent the day in Lincoln where they allowed dogs in the cathedral. The location of the cottage is fantastic for different beach walks - the best being Huttoft bank, Anderby Creek and Mablethorpe. The cottage itself is perfect -very clean and everything you need. The dogs enjoyed the garden and it was so peaceful. We would certainly recommend it for a family holiday.
