For those that don’t want to fish, there is plenty to see and do in the area. Attractions in the area include the Lincolnshire Wolds, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at Coningsby or Horncastle, a 30-minute drive, which is famous for its many antique and collectables shops. Excellent stay as always. We've been many times and recommend this lodge to anyone. We treat it like our second home! No major issues, but for future reference, I have always said it's strange why the main bedroom doesn't have a king or even super-king bed in it. It is plenty big enough and for a 6ft bloke, it's not great having your feet hanging over the end of the bed! Lovely walks around the lodge and the owners are fine with you having a dog at the lodge. Will be booking again for next year (and here's hoping for a bigger bed next year too!)

Had another lovely week in the lodge, it was comfortable and everything was thought of! Couldn't fault the lodge itself however having no signal and Wi-Fi that didn't work, made it nearly impossible to book nights out. However this being said, we would still return, hopefully next year!

This was the third time at willow lodge and enjoyed every minute. The lodge is brilliant has everything you could want for a holiday lodge. The fishing is very good especially when it right outside your door you couldn’t ask for more. If I was to say anything negative it would the wi-fi isn’t strong but it is better than it was the first time of going.

Beautiful lodge in a quiet setting in the countryside. Located on a fishing lake, Willow Lodge is one of five lodges on the site, so very quiet and perfect for a relaxing break. There is no amenities that you can walk to, but the village of Burgh-le-Marsh offers pubs and supermarkets - a five minute drive away. The hot-tub is great after a long day cycling or walking. Top tip - a visit to the beach at Sandilands - one of the longest stretch of golden sandy beaches I have seen. You can ride your bike all the way to Mablethorpe or you can walk it.
