For us the location etc etc was perfect. Pub next door. Bus just outside to Wooler or Berwick. Also very cosy to warm up in after a day out. I thought the electric log burner would be naff but it was very convincing!

Very comfortable cottage, with every gadget imaginable - our second stay here. A lovely welcome pack provided and owner in touch on second day to ensure all was well.

The cottage is lovely - very well appointed with appropriate instructions which made it all easy. Good centre for all areas of Northumberland/Scotland - especially chuffed with the eggs , milk and bread on arrival - lovely touch Parking no problem in the Red Lion which we would recommend for a meal. Couldn’t fault the accommodation - well worth the price
