Bedroom area: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
A short walk across the site brings you to the shared kitchen and dining/living space, where you’ll have everything needed for simple meals, from cooking a hearty breakfast to warming up something after a day out. Just next door, The Parrs has its own bathroom allocated to the pod, with a shower cubicle, toilet and sink, so you can enjoy your stay without sharing facilities.
Outdoors, there’s plenty of space to sit back and take in the view. With your own firepit, evenings become slow and atmospheric, a chance to cook, chat or simply watch the glow of the fire against the fields from the hot tub. Surrounded by quiet, it’s an easy place to step away from the rush of daily life.
The location puts you close to some lovely days out. Powis Castle is just a short drive away with its impressive gardens and sweeping views, while Attingham Park offers beautiful parkland and historic interiors to explore. Walkers can head up Rodney’s Pillar, visible from the site, and those on bikes can join Cycle Route 81 for gentle rides through lanes and farmland. For a change of pace, Shrewsbury (around 25 minutes) is full of independent shops, cafes and river walks, while Welshpool (16 minutes) gives easy access to the hills and more historic sites.
Steady, quiet and surrounded by nature, The Parrs Pod offers the essentials and a little breathing space, a simple spot to enjoy time outdoors and return to restful evenings by the fire.
