Set in 60 acres of woodland, this charming cottage is within the private and secluded grounds of Tullich Lodge on the outskirts of the popular highland village of Ballater.
Wonderful peaceful, the cottage is tucked away from the main house, giving privacy to both owner and guest. The sheltered patio at the front of the property looks over trees and sloping woodland, perfect for watching for squirrels and birdlife abundant in the area. Inside, the décor is smart and comfortable with a cosy wood burner in the living room, and three good sized double rooms with comfy beds and crisp linen.
A wonderful place to relax and unwind, the lodge is within a short distance of Ballater, where you will find a plethora of interesting shops, excellent eating places and good pubs. The area is a magnet for sports folk with fishing, shooting, golf, gliding, skiing and horse riding all available locally, while slightly further afield the ski slopes of the Lecht and further on, Cairngorm, are an easy drive through outstanding scenery.
