What an amazing location! This detached timber lodge is in a fantastic position with elevated views over the Angus Countryside towards Glen Isla and Glen Prosen.
Warm and comfortable within, there is an open plan living room/kitchen with doors to a sunny sheltered decking area which overlooks the panoramic views. Two kingsize bedrooms and a bunk room make this an ideal choice for a relaxing family holiday. Although on a working farm, the location is generally very peaceful, surrounded fields adjacent to a camping pitch so there may be the occasional caravan nearby or the odd tractor now and then.
An ideal location for nature lovers, the lochs of Lintrathen and Kinnordy are nearby and wonderful places to spot many types of birds including osprey, kingfisher and wildfowl. Walking opportunities abound: the Cateran Trail is on the doorstep and the Five Angus Glens offer good hill walking and cycling. Horse riding is available at Kirriemuir (7 miles) where there are shops and good eating places. Glamis Castle and Scone Palace are within easy reach and make good alternative days out.
