The Shippon is a stunning rural retreat in a tranquil and serene location with numerous beaches and activities just a short drive away and beautiful country walks on the doorstep. The Shippon provides a home away from home, which catered for all of our needs and surpassed all expectations. We absolutely loved the hot tub! The hosts were excellent, made us all feel welcome (including my sister’s dog who loved the Shippon also!), provided us with some very useful recommendations of what to see in the local area and the attention to detail in the Shippon was wonderful. Also, the host’s culinary skills were impeccable! I highly recommend the food on offer. It was delicious. The Shippon is an absolute gem and was the perfect holiday for us. We were very happy with the Shippon, I would recommend it to others and all of us would certainly holiday at the Shippon again.

We had an amazing week at the Shippon. The owners were very welcoming, and could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage is beautiful and very spacious, comfortable and luxuriously appointed. The kids loved the games room and the hot tub, and the dogs loved all the outdoor space. Highly recommend staying here- we have already booked to return!
