The Orchard Hill House is a tranquil three-bedroom retreat in elevated Malpas (AONB/SSSI) on the Cornish Riviera, just 10 minutes’ drive from Truro’s historic centre and cathedral. It combines sweeping creek views with easy access to city restaurants, bars and supermarkets.
Bedrooms: one double, one twin/double (zip-link) opening to a sunny deck, and one single. Sleeps five. Two WCs (family bathroom upstairs, additional WC downstairs).
Living spaces: spacious lounge with Chesneys log burner, sofas and a cushioned window seat/daybed overlooking the creek (binoculars provided). Through dining room with table for six and eclectic antique style. Well-stocked kitchen with oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge-freezer.
Outside and wellness: private tiered gardens with a five-person hot tub and new outdoor shower, multiple seating spots, upper lawn and patio with dining for six and BBQ—perfect for watching boats in the marina below or stargazing at night. Sunny paved front garden with tables and a picnic bench.
Parking and EV: private garage parking for one car plus space for a medium car on the drive. 7 kW untethered EV charger in the garage.
