For a 5* rated accommodation, this does fall short. A welcome cake was a christmas cake ... in February!!!! nothing for our 3 dogs. No acknowledgement that it was our second visit. Still unable to use shower in master bedroom as it was scalding hot once we got hot water, which didn't work initially , but the owners did get a plumber in late the next day and was sorted. The cookers had not been cleaned, and overall cleanliness was disappointing. However, this property has great potential and this is why we went a second time.

We were working in the area. As a base for the week this was very good: comfortable with nice interior space; not a sign of residual pet fluff; the key/gate system was useful for multiple people doing things at different times. Parking on street sometimes a bit crowded next to the Old Stables but manageable within a fairly short distance. Pleasant pub at the other end of the village.
