Wonderful, it’s cosy, cute and comfortable. Right on the high street, but it’s still very private and quiet. it was great to have a cup of tea sitting in the bay window, watching the street below. The little details were great, antiques, lovely crockery, a box of shortbread biscuits, fresh fruit in a basket. Emma is a wonderful host. Parking is secure at the rear of the cottage. And the Nidderdale scenery is simply superb.

Lovely accommodation. All you need for your break away. Unfortunately the High Street is very busy and noisy with lots of traffic, including lorries, tractors etc. Would go again if in a different location. Nice owners.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Old Clockmakers. We had a warm welcome from the owners. The bed was really comfy & we had everything we needed to hand.

We had a brilliant time based at the Old Clockmakers. It was very handy for the shops and gave us a great view of everything going on down the High Street (especially the parade of MG cars which gathered on the Sunday for a rally in the nearby showground). We were very lucky with the weather (it only rained badly on one day) so were able to do a lot of walking in the local area (a walk round Bewerley and Pateley Bridge, Bolton Abbey, Brimham Rocks, Faountains Abbey and Studley Royal). We spent a morning in Ripon (the day it rained) and had a wonderful day in Harrogate, taking afternoon tea at the famous Betty's. All in all, it was a lovely break and the house was perfect in every way. Parking was reasonable, as we were lucky to grab a spot in the yard at the back for each day except the Saturday we arrived because it was so busy that day.

Everything was great. Only drawback would be showering in the bath. We were paranoid about soaking the place and getting water on the painted walls, which was easy to do.
