This is a really super holiday apartment. The setting is lovely overlooking the mere. It is within easy driving distance of all of the local attractions.

We enjoyed our break at the Lily Pad but we were very unlucky with the weather. We would definitely like to make a return visit.

We loved the Lily Pad. The location was amazing, with the Mere and birds to gaze out on as we sat in comfort. Gillian's lemon drizzle cake, and a bottle of wine that greeted us were really appreciated and the cottage very tastefully decorated and furnished. The underfloor heating made for real comfort, even though it was icy outside. The walk to Aldeburgh along the disused railway line and back along the beach was lovely, with pause for lunch at the Mill Pub - excellent. We also visited Sizewell B visitor centre - very informative, and had a wonderful time at Minsmere with the starling murmuration spectacular at the end of the day. Everyone we met was very friendly and most seem to have been born and brought up in the area. Great time.
