The conservative club very noisey on a Saturday night with a disco. Parking could be a problem and would not recommend with children as bedrooms are on top floor and ground. Only one bathroom with no separate toilet. No outside space and very overlooked.

The cottage had everything and the welcome pack of goodies, including a bottle of wine, was a lovely surprise. The cottage was really convenient for shops, restaurants and pubs in Wareham - you could walk everywhere. And we really enjoyed sitting on the banks of the Frome watching the local kids jumping off the bridge and swimming in the river. The walks walk and two ribvers walks are worth doing, including the visit to the Saxon church

Very well equipped and comfy. Once indoors you forget about the location. Instructions to get to property could be a bit clearer or maybe a sign in the road would help.

The cottage itself exceeded our expectation, as it was extremely clean, comfortable with all the facilities we could wish for. The welcome pack was a very nice touch, and the location excellent. The only negative would be the noise from the conservative club opposite on the saturday evening, however that was just one night, and what you might expect from a town centre location. It certainly would not put us off from returning. All in all, a lovely holiday. Thank you.

A fantastically presented cottage in the heart of Wareham. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Of all the properties that we have stayed at over the year's this was the best. It had everything a family could possibly need. Our children loved the board games. The welcome pack of goodies was incredibly generous. It was a real home from home. The location in the centre of Wareham was fantastic too as it allowed easy access to Swanage, Studland, Corfe, Arne, Weymouth and Lulworth. Wareham is also such a lovely base with riverside and town walls walks.

This is a lovely cottage in a super town - Wareham is a excellent base for visiting all that Dorset has to offer and is packed with places to eat, drink and make merry. Tennay Cottage is comfortable, well equipped and the Owners are really helpful. It is best if your car is on the smaller side as parking is tight. We love it and will be visiting again - great to stay somewhere that is so cared for and immaculately clean. It is a short walk to the Main Street and the only drawback (and this would apply if you have small children) is that it overlooks the Conservative Club entrance and when the weather is good you will hear a little noise on Friday and Saturday nights. Can’t say this bothered us. It’s tucked away but follow the directions and you will find a Tennay - it’s an absolute gem.

The cottage is an end terrace on 3 floors overlooking a small courtyard. It is ideally situated near the High street with shops restaurants and pubs. The bathroom is on the ground level with one bedroom, lounge and kitchen on first floor and 2 bedrooms on top floor. There were only 2 of us so we managed ok, but one bathroom between 5 might be difficult. Beds were very very comfortable as were the lounge furniture. Kitchen was small but had everything you could need. Parking was occasionally awkward as vans park just outside the gated entrance, also other users do not stick to their numbered space! A lovely homely base, tastefully decorated and furnished. We would definitely go again.
