very peaceful & relaxing location. well equipt & immaculate. Wi-Fi may b an advantage especially in the darker evenings but didn't bother us. only other minor item to add a small step for the high cupboards

a beautiful cottage and setting, a haven of tranquility. Immediate access is trying due to the narrow winding roads with unclipped roadside hedges, we found this common throughout the area.

If you enjoy peace, tranquility, and wildlife in a beautiful setting look no further than Swallows Nest. Spotlessly clean holiday house with everything you need for a wonderful holiday. There is no WiFi but we managed to do without it.

Swallows Nest was our perfect holiday destination. We found the cottage to be immaculately clean, warm and well equipped with stunning views out over the lake and an abundance of wildlife to enjoy. It provided complete peace and seclusion whilst being close enough to amenities and great eating establishments. The surrounding countryside offers fantastic walking opportunities. The thoughtful addition of fresh flowers, eggs and biscuits on arrival were much appreciated. Would love to return!

We spent Christmas at Swallows Nest 4 adults and two teenage girls. The cottage is superb with top quality fittings and a lot of thought has obviously gone into providing everything. The location with it's own lake was lovely and the girls loved the sheep in particular. For a summer holiday in good weather it would be fantastic with the option to visit the area attractions as well.
