The lads in the yard told us the key safe combination upon our arrival. Opening the door to a fresh fragrant clean smell ( not bleach) went to use the toilet and was so pleased to see a seal on the lid. The rest of the cottage was spotless. Fresh sweetwilliam Flowers on the dining table was a great touch. Tea coffee milk. Even poo bags for the dog was in the cupboards and fridge. This is a very well thought about accommodation has private lawn and direct access to the river for fishing. breakfast on the sun bathed veranda at 6am was beautiful, a 2 minute drive / 10 minute walk to the Tesco store and the town center that has everything you need. It’s a brilliant quiet relaxing holiday that I would recommend to anyone! thank you simpsons boat yard ( just a note if you take young children to this cottage please make sure they wear life jackets in the garden. The water is 3 to 4 ft deep off the bank )

A lovely place to stay but let down by pettiness. We were left with a bad taste when the manageress came knocking on the door at 09.05 to tell us we had to leave. We were just going to when she knocked. As we had to strip the beds and put the sheets and towels in a laundry bag that should have been taken into consideration and most places you leave at 10.00 or later. Considering there was only one other family and they have about 8 or more units I don't think they were rushed to clean in a certain time as they would have been in the summer.. Also not very diplomatic she came in the day before to measure for a new TV and then brought it in as we were leaving saying that it had Freeview which obviously we didn't. She could've waited till we left. Also only 4 TEABAGS, a few Nescafe sachets and sugar. Imagine counting out exactly 4 tea bags!!! Nowadays many welcome packs include a PACKETS OF GROUND COFFEE AND TEA AS WELL AS WINE!!! The beds are sagging so are past their sell by date I did flip them over which helped a bit but they should have done that...
