First visit to Norfolk. Cottage was spacious, clean and well equipped. No wi-fi, but that is good for relaxation. If you need wi-fi, Stalham village has it, a 10 minute drive or 30 minute stroll along the Weaver's Way. The wi-fi kicks in after about 10 minutes along the way. The local pub, the Butcher's Arms, a 15 minute walk, is good for a meal, and local produce, eggs and vegetables are on sale from the neighbours. Stalham has a good pub and two nice antique shops. Cromer and Sheringham are convenient by car. Swans nest in the lake, and the grounds well kept. Sat Nav is desirable for navigating the network of minor roads in the area which can be confusing on first visit.
