We enjoyed a week kayaking and sight seeing from this wonderfully located cottage.

The Cottage was easy to find with all the facilities of home. It gave great views across the river Wye and due to the fantastic weather we never tired of looking at the vista from the patio. We chose the location but it is a few miles to the nearest shop meaning we had to drive the narrow twisty lanes to reach them. But even so it was a great place to stay.

We enjoyed the tranquility of River Wye View Cottage . It was pleasant to sit on the terrace watching the activities on the river. The cottage is very comfortable and we had everything we needed to make our stay a good one. The shop was a little further away than we expected but was very well stocked. We found Symonds Yat West to be a good base for exploring the area and we were pleased to have the opportunity to visit new places, including several castles, each of which had its own special charm.

The cottage was cosy and warm and the view from the patio of the river was really good. We enjoyed our stay. Would not be suitable for anyone who has a problem with sreps and stairs.

A lovely little cottage in a really pretty location. We had a rather damp weekend so were unable to enjoy sitting out on the terrace but the views were stunning. The cottage is well equipped and nice and cosy. It is a steep walk down to the river and the pubs but on quiet roads so not a problem.
