Very conveniently located for visiting all the coastal towns in the area. Shops only a minute or two walk away. Lovely modern and well equipped cottage.

It’s a tidy house. For a converted property, it lacked character and this was a reason for booking. There is suggestion of a courtyard however this is not the case as you are essentially sitting in the driveway. Portioning part of this would be good. Good position for the train station. 10 min walk to seafront. Noisy dog which kept us awake and also no privacy in terms of bathroom/living room as people could look in when walking up the driveway. If you wanted this you need to keep the blinds shut.

Very clean and comfortable. Beds as comfortable as at home. Only down points were, No curtain/blind at bathroom window, with neighbours small parking area being adjacent to the window there was very little privacy whilst in the bathroom. The parking area in front of the building in our opinion could have been made smaller thus allowing a grassed area (even imitation grass) for relaxation purposes. This being the only "outside" area of the property. Nearby neighbours dogs barking at aprox. 11pm and 6.45am every day was a real nuisance.

It was a very well presented holiday home, a walkable distance from Torquay centre and beach. The owners were lovely and friendly. The only reason not giving the overall rating as a 10 is there was no gate at the front of house (and this is the only outside space available) so therefore you (possibly) could not leave a dog unguarded in case it wandered into the road that ran down the side of the house and as we were very lucky with the hot weather it would have been nice to let our dog outside by herself to mooch instead of requiring one of us to be outside watching her. But overall a great base to explore Devon.
