Primrose cottage is well worth a visit. It's an absolutely beautiful cosy cottage in a great location (not far from Saundersfoot bay.) The owners were very helpful and friendly. We had a really fantastic holiday enjoying stunning Pembrokeshire coastal walks, exploring local towns and visiting the beautiful sandy beaches. The cottage was a particularly lovely place to relax/retreat to on the occasions when we had a little rain. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and in front of the log burner. Would highly recommend this place as somewhere you could visit all year round.

We had an excellent time at Primrose Cottage. The cottage was very clean but it would have been nice to have access to a vacuum cleaner for the odd time to clear up. Also the lounge was a bit dark so better lighting would be nice. Other than that it was great .

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your feedback and suggestions, we wanted to let you know that we have acted on both. A new vacuum cleaner has been installed, we have added extra lighting, a floor standing reading lamp and increased the bulb power within the existing lighting. We are really pleased to hear though, that overall you enjoyed your stay. Thanks again.

Very dark cottage even with the lights on. I felt depressed when we arrived. There had been rain and the kitchen roof had leaked. This was fortuitous because we were offered alternative accommodation which was much larger, lighter and altogether more in keeping with the price we paid.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are sorry that Primrose Cottage didn’t meet your expectations. Unfortunately the inclement weather didn’t help matters, contributing to the lack of light and possibly your depression. We were so pleased to be able to offer alternative accommodation in one of our other properties when the leak appeared in the kitchen roof storm damage from a few days earlier. We have reviewed our property description to check that it accurately reflects the cottage and what we offer and are comfortable that it does. We are also reassured that most guests have enjoyed their time in Primrose, guest satisfaction scores are generally quite high, and perhaps it just wasn’t for you. We would happily describe any of our cottages in greater detail, prior to booking. We really want our guests to enjoy their time with us and would be very happy to help anyone considering a stay with us to choose the property that best suits their needs. Thankfully all was not lost and it seems, from your departing message, that you spent six happy days in Pembrokeshire.
