We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. It was very homely and had everything you could ever need. There was a wide range of kitchen equipment, great appliances, comfortable beds, nice bedding etc. The garden is nice too, perfect for our 18m old to play in and for us to sit out. It's all really well thought out and nicely done. The owner contacted us after a day out so to see if everything was OK, which was nice. As it happened Whilst the shower in the ensuite stopped working age we informed the owner. It was all resolved very quickly. Someone came out on a Sunday to look at it and on Tuesday the plumber fitted a brand new shower. Very impressive. This is genuinely good accommodation, clean, comfortable and practical - it ticked our boxes! 😁

We (2 newly retired couples) have just returned from a week in this charming well equipped cottage. If you want peace and quiet, the location is ideal, although up an unmade track, overlooking the Taw estuary, it is near to all amenities....Sainsbury's about 5 minutes drive away. It is also very close to the Tarka Trail and Fremington Quay (lovely cafe with wonderful cakes etc). We enjoyed cycling the Tarka Trail, and the large porch/utility room was ideal to keep our bikes safe and out of inclement weather! We would defintely recommend this cottage.
