Lovely property in a lovely village. Outdoors is fantastic with lawn, Wendy house, basketball hoop and plenty of seating, parasols etc. Cannot be overlooked due to high hedge. All manner of games supplied. House well presented and very comfortable. For some reason tv wouldn’t show some channels at certain times but not a problem as we were out all the time. Beds excellent and nothing wrong with the sofas!! Games room superb tho Wi-fi kept dropping out there-spent a lot of time in that room!! Happisburgh beach is nice tho somewhat ruined by coastal erosion. Really feel for the residents as it’s a lovely village slowly falling into the sea. Don’t not go tho because of that-it’s years away!! Loved the proximity of the house to the sea 10 mins max. Go and enjoy the area-Blickling Hall, Bure Valley Railway, Minature World all close say half hour away. Do the Bure Valley Railway from Aylsham it’s easier! Great Yarmouth and Cromer easily accessible. Lovely place-enjoy!!

We had a superb week in Pembroke House - four adults, two young children and two dogs. The house was very well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable and probably the best we have slept on in holiday rental properties. The sofas in the lounge were extremely uncomfortable to the extent of being painful. There is plenty of parking at the property. The property is extremely well situated with local shop, pub and beach all within walking distance. There was a well equipped games room, with pool/snooker table, table tennis table and two comfortable sofas, this games room was frequently enjoyed by the whole family. The garden was completely enclosed making it ideal for the two young children and the two dogs and, wow, the children loved, loved, loved, the play house. Everything was catered for both in the house itself and the garden with plenty of garden furniture and a very good size excellent barbeque. We do feel the house would benefit from more televisions, bearing in mind the price charged. This is the only holiday rental property we have stayed in with just the one tv set; however, in no way did it spoil our stay. We thoroughly recommend this property and we would most definitely consider booking to stay there again.

Lovely week away , defiantly need a car though and a real shame that the access to the beach opposite is shut off at the moment

We loved the location of this house, with views of the local lighthouse and in easy reach of wonderful beachside dog-walks and plenty of interesting places to visit nearby - including very straightforward and friendly boat hire on the Broads, just 15 minutes away. The house itself is beautifully proportioned with large, comfortable rooms, and no-one getting left with 'the small room'. Three doubles and two twins worked perfectly for us, we found everything we needed in the kitchen and living spaces (loved the woodburner) and the games room was such a bonus.

Such a lovely comfy & accommodating house. Big enough for 7 adults, 2 children & 2 dogs to have their own space. Large garden & plenty of parking. Loved it.

8 adults plus two dogs had a lovely long weekend. Feels like you are at home very comfortable with all you need in one house. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Only issue is no local shop in walking distance but house makes up for that. Looking at booking again next year!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Many thanks for your feedback; we are glad you enjoyed your weekend. There is a small shop in the village, next to the school and opposite the church hall.

This must be the best equipped holiday cottage kitchen! The second fridge, in the games room, was taken over as a drinks fridge. The grandchildren adored the Garden House. The sitting room comfortably housed 7 adults, 4 children and a large flat coated retriever. The staff at the Lighthouse at Walcot were friendly and most obliging, the food was very good.

There were 7 of us from a 5yr old teenagers to 75 yrs. Plenty of rooms, nice a comfy. The games room was great for the children on an evening. Garden in the morning sun was lovely. nice and enclosed - no one over looking you while have breakfast in you're jammies. Plenty of essentials in the kitchen - we cooked must nights - went to the local pub fab meal and reasonable prices. Beach 10 mins away walking if you cut through the houses. Would highly recommend

Excellent accommodation for all our family, ten of us. Good large rooms, looks bigger than on the website. Great games room and secluded garden, plenty of parking, all good.
