We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moorland Lodge. The house is spotlessly clean, has everything to make your stay comfortable. The owners Chris and Stu could not be more welcoming and friendly, and although they live on site are not at all intrusive. The house is in a beautiful area with good road links to the whole of Dorset and Hampshire. It was so quiet the only sounds were of birdsong including the owls and woodpeckers. Chris met us on arrival and showed us around, not to mention the scrummy cupcakes! A welcome pack of milk and tea, coffee etc is supplied too. You could not make a better choice than this cottage for a relaxing break in superb surroundings. Looking forward to going back, Stu, Barry said to get the alcohol free beer on ice!

This two person cottage is ideal for a couple who enjoy the countryside. We had a great holiday there and found the owners to be friendly and concerned that we would have a good stay. My only worry was the lack of curtains in the main living area but on reflection there was no one to look in! The site is secure with a coded entrance gate. We certainly will be trying to book this property again if we return to the area.

Very friendly welcome from Chris & Stu as well as Cobi and the new arrival kitten. The place was stunning and it was true peace and quite and both Chris & Stu were very helpful in finding our way to places of interest. YES, we would stay with them again and we look forward to that day. Best wishes to them all.
