Description

Boasting its own hot tub, and sauna this holiday property is in the ideal area for a relaxing break.

Located on Welsh/English border

These three very attractive detached holiday lodges (refs W43690, W43691 and W43692) are set together in a small cluster in the most peaceful location on the edge of Llangunllo near Knighton. The lodges boast their own private hot tubs and sit in 2 acres of grounds. The original Mill Race wet area is inside the grounds, which may be wet or dry depending on the weather. Knighton is an area best known for its association with Offa’s Dyke, but due to the town being partly in Wales and partly in Shropshire, there are many nearby attractions, including, in Wales, the red kite feeding station, the Judges Lodgings, Spaceguard Centre, Elan Valley and Powys Castle. In Shropshire, nearby places include The Secret Hills Discovery Centre, Acton Scott Working Farm, Clun, Stokesay, Ludlow Castle, Ludlow Racecourse, Attingham Park and Ironbridge. Shop 7 miles, pub 250 yards.

We had really nice time . Lodge very clean and u can found there everything what u need . Sauna and hot tub extra bonus . I found a bit cold at night , would be nice put heating a bit higher temperature . As a heating is locked, so u can't put temperature what suit you. I know is the rules but would be nice check out at 12.00 instead of 10.00 . As we have to waik up at 7.00 to get ready , and with little child is not that easy ;) We did enjoy our holiday.

We had a great time staying in the cottage. Tony was helpful and welcoming and showed us how to use the hot tub on arrival. The cottage was a great little retreat for the weekend, the hot tub and sauna were brilliant and the grounds good for a relaxing evening BBQ. The stars were also amazing in the evening along with all the sounds of the local wildlife. There was some confusion after we left in relation to a missing handle from a window, which has hopefully been located as we didn’t open the window in question all weekend.

Excellent, just excellent. Could not recommend it highly enough for standards. Everything was as promised including the personal welcome and attention to detail. The local hostelry was so welcoming and a great selection of drinks. We will be back.

Beautiful lodge dressed to a high standard. The lodge is lovely, big open plan frontroom/kitchen/dining room.. rooms are also decorated nicely. The hot tub and sauna are wonderful which the whole family enjoyed. There is a local town about 16 miles away that has a big tescos and places to eat. We ventured out to Elan Valley & the small breeds animal farm which is a must! The lodge was well equipped with everything you need the only thing I would recommend is a new set of sharp knives and an extra frying pan. Owner was nice and friendly and welcomed us as we arrived. The views from the bedrooms are beautiful, its lovely and quiet and theres nice places to go for walks. We would happily visit again!
