Boasting a games room with full size snooker and table tennis tables, it offers spacious accommodation for larger groups, as well as a first floor balcony where guests can take in the abundant birdlife. For the fisherman, this part of the Broads offers some of the best coarse fishing anywhere in the UK (fishing licence required). Winterton-on-Sea is a short drive away with its wonderful sandy beach and dunes. This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the north beach is home to a colony of grey seals. The BeWILDerwood Outdoor Adventure Park at Horning offers treehouses, zip wires, jungle bridges and more - all adding up to a great day out for children. The fine city of Norwich, with its cathedrals, castle, museums, theatre and vast array of cafés and shops, is half an hour away. There is a wealth of National Trust properties to visit in the area, which include Felbrigg Hall, Garden and Park (one of the finest Jacobean houses in East Anglia), the beautifully landscaped Sheringham Park and the magnificent Blickling Hall with its woodland and lakeside walks. Horsey Wind Pump is only 3 miles away (and a good destination for a boat trip). Shops, pubs and restaurants 1 mile.

Lovely place to stay, comfortable and spacious accommodation with an excellent games room and well equipped kitchen, the location itself is fabulous for wildlife seeing many different types of birds and even an otter. Would and will most certainly revisit at some point.

I would have written a better review as the property is actually quite nice. The problem is that the owner will try and scam you out of the deposit. Once challenged and threatened with legal action he offered to pay this back and has since avoided all emails and texts. Please don't make the same mistake we did and lose your deposit as it is potentially his way of getting more money than the rent is worth. You have all been warned.

We absolutely loved Ferry view, it was very clean, spacious with plenty to do. The only slight negative was we found quite a few flies in the bedrooms. Other than that, it’s an amazing place to stay, with great local amenities, and we all especially loved the huge games room! Would highly reccomend.

Stunning location, wonderful waterside views and walks. Fabulous games room. Great house for a large group gathering. A little tired in places, but the property has just been bought by a new owner who has plans for some refurbishment, which should make it a very desirable destination!

Lovely large cottage with great river views. Hired a picnic boat for 4hrs and worth the money. Games room was a hit but a TV in there would be good. Will definitely be booking again
