We were really happy about the stairlift and wheelchair that was offered to us by the owner. They were very useful in the first week, as my wife was recovering from a recent knee operation. Problem with the sewage was quickly and adequately solved. Kitchen could have been cleaner (some pans and cutlery seems a little greasy). Nice please, would surely visit again if we went to this region again.

Great place to stay only downside is the difficulty of getting out of the driveway onto a road that has limited vision of traffic (on a slight bend)

We really enjoyed staying at Marstan House and would definitely stay again. A drier would be an idea as it’s quite hard to dry lots of kids clothes in winter with just radiators!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for taking the time to review Marstan, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We will take your comment about drying clothing into consideration, there is clothes drying rack in the wash house with a radiator and boiler. Looking forward to seeing you in the future.

Lovely house, close to many facilities, very clean and warm. Only downside for us was having to reverse out of the drive onto quite a busy road, our car is very long, smaller cars wouldn’t have a problem.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner: Thank you for taking the time to review Marstan House, hope the driveway didn't spoil your stay with us. Thank you for the chocolates, looking forward to seeing you next year.
