Toad Hall was a lovely old farmhouse in the Devon countryside with ample bedrooms, bathrooms and lounges for a large family group. The kitchen was large enough for us all to sit round the table and some of the family to sit on talking after the meal. There were also people staying in the nearby barn but they did not concern us. The separate games building was much used by the family and the younger children loved the swimming pool. The grounds and lake were pleasant to walk through although we didn't see the badgers. It is a drive to the coast and other sites but not too far. It is a pity the small Devon roads are so potholed and Devon Highways Department need to mend more of them.

A great holiday house for our family group of 13, ranging in age from 1 to 80. Pool and games room excellent for keeping the children entertained. Recommended.

We had a lovely time at Toad Hall, it's a huge house with enough space for three families to holiday together whilst not getting on top of each other. The house is very well equipped with a lovely family kitchen to eat in and lots of cooking equipment. The garden for Toad Hall is huge with it's own small trampoline and a whole field for playing football in! One ward of warning if you have a large car Toad Hall is down what basically amount to farm tracks which were a little hair raising to begin with. Also there are two Bradfords in the area one is called Bradford on the maps and the other, which is referred to as Bradford in the directions provided, is actually called Holemoor on road signs and satnavs. We spent half an hour being very confused until we found our way to Dippers Mill.
