We go away twice a year and this is by far one of the best places we have ever stayed. The view is absolutely idillic and the cottage has plenty of space for everyone.

Ladymoor is a beautiful large cottage in a wonderful riverside location. We had a great family get together of 10 adults for 3 nights. The damp weather didn't spoil our stay as we had the pool table, football table, Sky TV, cosy sofas to snuggle up with a book. Fabulous bedrooms and bathrooms. Friendly owner. However, it's not 4 star quality. The conservatory only seats 6 people and it's the brightest room in the house to gather in. The windows are 'blown' spoiling the view, it's roof is dirty. Similarly, the lovely bedroom balcony had a big pile of bird poo right outside the French windows. The entrance driveway is scruffy, with tatty doormats outside and recycling boxes. Plus a wreck of a building stuffed full of junk is next to the cottage. This spoils the arrival impression and is a main view from the conservatory. Little details like the kitchen bin lid was broken, the scruffy, handwritten information folder with no take away menus in it or pub menus. We did not appreciate the note in the folder which asked guests to clean and mop the floors on leaving...it's a holiday....hotels don't ask you to clean up! Also, why the £50 fuel charge as an extra? Isn't this covered by the expensive per night hire cost? All that said, we had a good time.

We have stayed in many large properties and unfortunately this was the least enjoyable. The fireplace is not a log fire but an electric on/off thing with a fan. There is no heating in the kitchen which makes this part of the house cold and the lights in the kitchen are particularly unfriendly if we want to go that far! The bedrooms were fine and well presented very clean. I just don’t think the expectations met with reality based on the photos seen online

We booked this cottage for a family weekend away and it far exceeded our expectations! The house was very spacious, oozing character and charm from every nook. The dining room was beautifully laid out for our arrival and although shelves and display cases were crammed full of figurines, glasses and beautiful nick nacks, it was spotlessly clean. The views were just magnificent and the hosts were very welcoming and amenable. Thank you so very much!

Lovely situation and nice and close to the Ship Inn for a meal (which was lovely). The steam train running just behind the house, up the bank and through the trees was just like the coco-cola advert, especially as it got dusk - magic! We had hope to take the train into Bridgnorth, but for a short journey it was quite expensive, which was disappointing. A most enjoyable weekend.

Lovely cottage, lots of character, very well equipped, ideal for our party of 8 adults, beautiful location- helped by the fact that we had great early Autumn weather. Enjoyed the games room and different seating areas, loved the big dining table- great for our mega evening meals!

We had a fabulous time with a large family celebration. The accommodation was superb and ideal for large groups looking to get away from it all, relax and enjoy family time together

I would highly recommend Ladymoor. It is a beautiful cottage situated perfectly between the river and the steam railway. We took the train to Bridgenorth. The cottage is spacious and very well equipped. Thank you to the owners who made us so welcome, allowing us in earlier than planned to put up balloons for a surprise family birthday weekend. The area is excellent for fishing. We caught a 7lb pike!! There were 13 of us in our family group ranging from 7months to 76 yrs everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and we all want to come back. Thank you Jane
