Just a few hundred yards from two fantastic beaches and set directly on the famous Cleveland Way, Griff Cottage enjoys an enviable location. From the seafront, turn left along the trail towards Saltburn-by-the-Sea or right towards Staithes and beyond, taking in breathtaking clifftop views along the way. With good public transport links back to the village, you can easily enjoy a one-way walk if preferred. For gentler strolls, a wander along the jetty or across the sweeping sands of Cattersy Bay is equally rewarding.
The cosy living room offers a welcoming space to relax after a day exploring the coast. Two comfortable sofas and a charming gas stove create the perfect setting to unwind with a glass of wine or a good book.

Outside, you’ll find a generous patio and raised deck area — a true sun trap — complete with outdoor furniture and BBQ (available April to October). A summer house provides additional space to relax, and secure storage at the rear includes bike stands and charging facilities for E-bikes, making Griff Cottage an ideal base for a cycling holiday.
National Cycle Route 1 passes directly by the cottage, and keen cyclists will appreciate that the Tour de Yorkshire and the East Cleveland Klondyke have used the main road just outside the village.
