Close to the city centre (only 2 miles), great golf courses, and with easy access to main routes out of the city to world-class sights like Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield and the Cairngorms National Park, Glen View is an excellent choice for a holiday in the Scottish Highlands. Offering spacious accommodation for four people, Glen View has two double bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living/dining room. It’s a comfortable place to recharge after days out exploring.
From Glen View the centre of Inverness is well worth exploring as it’s simply charming. The castle dominates the skyline, but there are many spires along the banks of the River Ness, and historic buildings make up many conservation areas. It has an excellent food and drink scene, and the café culture is well and truly present! Beyond the city Loch Ness is close, and so too is the coast with beaches on the Black Isle and south side of the Moray Firth at Nairn. Culloden Battlefield is close too, and well worth a visit. The Cairngorms are only 30 minutes to the south, so you can be skiing in under an hour during the winter and walking up a mountain in the summer in less time! You can go on a Yes Highland & Island journey from Glen View as the Isle of Skye is within easy reach for a day trip. It’s an excellent base for adventurers! Book Glen View and set yourself up for a fantastic holiday in the Highlands!
