We loved our stay at this lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean on arrival, spacious and with stunning views of Pendle Hill. The owners are always on hand living in the near by Farmhouse but never intrusive and very pleasant. If you want to get away from it all and chill this is the perfect place to do it. The rear garden is a sun trap and very safe for dogs and the owners had left lots of nice touches even including a welcome pack for our pet. There is a lot to do in the area, plus the village of Sabden itself which is a short walk away is very pretty with a brook running through it and superb playground for children. Major supermarkets within 5 miles but two local shops in the village make self catering easy. The cottage is up a well maintained farm road and the directions provided to find it were more than adequate. Beds are very comfortable, we slept better here than we had in months and returned home feeling totally recharged.
