Best holiday I've had in a very long time. Felt like home, almost living the dream! Fantastic owners Julie and Simon (especially their two ponies) - thank you for making us so welcome, and we'll definitely will be back. X

Lovely old thatched cottage with a large, dog friendly, wrap around garden. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and bedroom. Two dog friendly pubs within 5 minutes walk in the lovely village. The cottage is on a non-through road so it is quiet, and a walk along the road takes you to footpaths down to the Mersey with a pleasant walk along the shore. 5 minutes to the main road network with easy links in to Wales, Chester etc, or direct drive into Liverpool (bus stop in the village if you don't want to drive). Highly recommended and we will be back.

Everything you need and more in the cottage. A sandwich maker, toaster, iron, washing machine. The owners do everything to make you feel welcome and it's even nicer than on the pictures. Highly recommended!! Every little detail in the house speaks of the love the owners have for the cottage.

We found the cottage to be a lovely place to stay and unwind for a few days. Julie was great, very helpful, and we were able to follow her advice for walks and getting out and about. We would certainly stay there again. Oscar the dog enjoyed the enclosed garden and we were delighted that he could be allowed to wander around without fear of escaping. All in all, a great break and somewhere we'd go to again.
