We found the cottage to be a lovely place to stay and unwind for a few days. Julie was great, very helpful, and we were able to follow her advice for walks and getting out and about. We would certainly stay there again. Oscar the dog enjoyed the enclosed garden and we were delighted that he could be allowed to wander around without fear of escaping. All in all, a great break and somewhere we'd go to again.

We loved staying here in Hale Village. It’s a beautiful area, very relaxed. There are lots of local sights to see and a very nice walk by the water. The cottage is well equipped and cozy. The hosts of this cottage were friendly and helpful.

This is a gem of a cottage with a beautiful garden, a piece of local history, set in a peaceful & friendly village, lots of countryside for walks, local shops & places to eat out, great food. Fantastic hosts too. We used it as a base to visit Liverpool without staying in the city & it was perfect with a direct bus service. It's well located for visiting the wider area, there's so much to see, another trip beckons!
