Please note: No children, except babies under 6 months. There are drops in the grounds and an unfenced river in the garden, 20 yards.

Nestled in the secluded valley of the Dulas, with the sounds of the river flowing through the two acre garden, peace and tranquillity are real features here. Slate floors, exposed beams and thick stone walls all add to the character and make for a romantic holiday hideaway. Honeysuckle Cottage forms part of a traditional Welsh Chapel, dating from 1825. The owners live in the upper part of the chapel. Adjoining the property on the opposite bank of the river are oak woods scheduled as a SSSI, with paths that lead past a picturesque gorge with waterfalls and then on to the villages of Aberllefenni and Corris. It is ideal walking country, with easy reach of Snowdonia. Within half an hour’s drive are beaches at Ynyslas and Aberdovey. Closer still are the nature reserves at Ynys Hir (RSPB), Cors Dyfi (Osprey Project). The market town of Machynlleth and the Museum of Modern Art - Wales are worth exploring, as is the Centre for Alternative Technology just down the valley at Pantperthog. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
Honeysuckle Cottage can be booked together with Jasmine Cottage (25935) to accommodate up to 4 guests.

Beautiful location, so peaceful and right next to a stream and some ancient looking woods. Loads of stuff within a short drive, me and Jasper the golden retriever loved it and hope to come again!

We had a wonderful short stay in the cottage. The cottage was so cosy for us and the welcome gifts were a super touch. We loved the location with beautiful walks right from the garden. Where else would you find a waterfall two minutes away from your accommodation?!!! Absolutely stunning. We had a fabulous stay and we will be back! Thank you, 

Had a great couples holiday here. The property is in a quiet location so you will need a car. Ideal for relaxation but in a great area for walks, cycling, and very close to the coast. There are only 12 paces from the front door to a vantage point over-looking a stream. There are only two cottages to be hired with the owners at the end of the building. Dogs are welcomed here which is hard to find these days. The owners are polite and very helpful and even provide home made bread, biscuits, milk, tea and coffee which is a very caring touch and much appreciated after our long travel. We spent a quiet and peaceful week here and returned home refreshed
