    A really excellent family property - plenty of room and very clean. Everyone had a great hassle free, relaxing time and whilst away from it all close to a number of attractions and easy access to the A303.

    Very friendly and welcoming owner. Good layout and space, though a little sparse on homely touches - a few houseplants would add a cosy feel if not wanting to risk ornaments. Our group of 7 preferred to use the kitchen rather than dining room, but latter excellent to accomodate larger groups. Bedrooms and bathrooms well appointed, showers powerful - nice to have a shower hose as well as the overhead in our bathroom. Stunning views front and back. Be aware you are right next to the farm but tractor noise shouldn’t bother any city-folk! Plenty of space for parking. Village has fish & chip shop, pub, butchers, small supermarket. Only 2 miles from Sherborne for Abbey, Castle, shops. Lovely walk out along Golding Lane through Haydon and back via short walk along A30 - around 3 hours. Great base for the delights of Dorset. We will return .....
