The ground floor has a designer kitchen with granite worktops leading to a stunning bathroom with roll-top bath, shower cubicle and illuminated mirror. The dining room has overhead beams and a farmhouse table, seating six and two window seats with co-ordinating cushions and curtains. On the first floor, which can also be accessed from the main road, there is a large comfy lounge with leather furniture, wall mounted television unit, open fire and raised seating units. We really enjoyed every minute of staying in Bryn Awel …the cottage was lovely with every thing you needed and very clean , nice welcome of some wine and Welsh cakes ….the location is excellent with some great walks on your door step …In some of the reviews people mention the tight driveway but we had no problems getting a 4x4 in you just need to get the angle right ….we will definitely revisit !!

Comfortable cottage in excellent location. Our one concern was that some of the safety measures seemed to be out of date, First aid box and fire extinguisher being a couple of examples. Overall lovely accommodation

Lovely clean and well equipped cottage right in the centre of Betws and minutes from amenities. Had a great stay there. Our only issue was that the comment that the drive was tight was an understatement! I could not get my car in and had to use the public car park. Given that the cottage sleeps 6, may need to consider this if you have a large family car/MPV especially with small children.
