Fantastic views, with great walks in the nearby forest. Daniel and Paul (owners) were more than welcoming, and ensured our stay was perfect.

We loved our time at Benar, we were 2 ads & 2ch, and although small, it is perfectly formed! Two lovely bedrooms, & very well equipped kitchen, we cooked in every evening and it has everything we could have needed. Open plan lounge diner kitchen was lovely. Nice selection of dvds and games, fabulous folder with numerous easy to follow walks straight from the door. Penmachno doesn’t have much, pub was closed everytime we went past, not sure if it is only open seasonally. Betws y Coed is a nice little town, a couple of nice shops and the royal hotel has a nice bar area, however once you’ve been once you’ve done it all. All in all the cottage is really lovely and was perfect for what we were looking for. Would recommend.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at our newly refurbished cottage. We think the best thing about Penmachno Village is that it is so beautifully quiet: somewhere to really get away from it all. There are miles of forest and farmland to explore right from the door and amazing mountain bike tracks too. The Conwy Falls Café is open every day and the village pub too (Weds-Sun). Just 3 miles away in Betws-y-Coed there are around 14 bars / restaurants as well as countless shops and even more activities. We hope that you will come and stay again because there is definitely much more to discover!
