We were given a very warm welcome on arrival in what seemed a mini monsoon on Good Friday. We had a very relaxing break in this delightful cottage and would definitely recommend it to others.

Barley corn is a lovely small barn conversion set in a rural area. It is very well equipped and had everything one would want. Sarah looked after us well and we felt very welcome, nice touch to have some delicious home made cake and also milk on our arrival. Certainly somewhere we will return to in the near future.

Barleycorn is one of the best cottages we have been to. Very well equipped and the owners had thought of everything you would need. We did find the beds a little firm for us but that is just personal preference. Overall we would recommend it.

We had been warned by many friends that holiday regularly in cottages to take certain equipment with us as there not supplied. This was not the case at Barleycorn every thing you could possibly need was there and more. We were blown away with the accommodation it was spacious and spotlessly clean. This was are 1st holiday in a cottage and in away it has spoilt us and think we maybe disappointed in the future as I do not believe all accommodation will be to such high standards. We had the most enjoyable Christmas staying here and the owners were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. I would highly reccommend this cottage to family and friends.

We received a lovely welcome at Barleycorn and the home made cake waiting for us on arrival was delicious! The shower is amazing!!! We immediately felt at home here and the owners were very understanding about our very nervous rescue dog. Hoping to return for another trip as it was a perfect stay!

The cottage is lovely and we were greeted by the whole family on arrival. Nothing this was too much hassle and they were on hand if we needed anything. We were made to feel very welcome. The cottage had everything we needed for our weeks stay and it had a great garden out the back with a lovely view. There are lots of things to do in the area or within travelling distance. I loved our week here and I would recommend Barleycorn and I would go back and stay again.

Clean, comfortable and well-equipped cottage in a peaceful location. Sarah, the host, has thought of everything you might need. Directions and arrangements for arrival were clear and worked very well. The cake, milk and fresh eggs were much appreciated. Sherborne is a charming town and there is plenty to see and do with in a short drive.
