Roscarrock is in a spacious and secluded cottage a very short drive away from Bradworthy down a narrow lane. The cottage itself needs some attention in that the bedroom doors did not shut properly, the bathroom door was very tight fit and the fire in the hearth did not work, neither did the light in the same socket. Some of the blinds were broken and did not shut. The whole cottage was spacious but the kitchen crockery and glasswear seemed incomplete. The bed in the main bedroom creaked when you turned and there was the fly problem. The most disappointing was the garden. The grass had not been cut, nor the geraniums deadheaded which was a shame. The rain had obviously run down the hill as the grass at the back of the cottage was waterlogged. The garden that we could use was the patio area only. We had an enjoyable week at the cottage but do think things should have been better for the money we spent.

Roacarrock is a lovely spacious lodge but needs money spending. Kitchen equipment is very mix and match as if brought in from several places odd plates, cups and cutlery.

As previous comments have mentioned cottage is showing signs of age,& has a very serious fly problem.the cottage has machines & we sprayed every time we went out but still had flies when we got back. Could also do with a barbecue as this is essential for this type of holiday.location is very rural & though the pub & shops are only a mile away the walk is very steep & would be a problem for any one with breathing problems. We enjoyed the holiday & overall was satisfied with the cottage
