Alderson Mews is a lovely, terraced cottage set within the village of North Frodingham in the East Riding of Yorkshire and just a short drive from the traditional seaside resort of Hornsea. Ideal for a couple to enjoy a romantic break away at any time of year.
Entering the cottage through the rear courtyard you are greeted by the large open plan living space which is neutrally decorated and flooded with natural light, offering a large comfortable sofa, wall mounted TV and a coal-effect electric fire to keep the room nice and snug during the chilly winter months. The well-equipped kitchen is to the opposite end with all the necessary appliances and a small dining area in which to enjoy delicious home cooked meals in the evenings. The double bedroom is well presented with a stunning feature wood wall and large built-in glass fronted wardrobes.
To the rear of the cottage is an enclosed courtyard offering the perfect place to enjoy an al-fresco breakfast or to simply enjoy an afternoon coffee and a good book. There is also a private hot tub to relax in after a busy day exploring. The nearby village of Brandesburton provides a choice of places to shop and a number of pubs serving real ales and some traditional Yorkshire fayre. There are even a couple of restaurants to choose from. The pretty seaside town of Hornsea is a short drive away for a relaxing day on the beach or for perusing the many local independent shops. A little further afield is the stunning North York Moors National Park offering a wealth of opportunities for walking and cycling and for bird watchers, the RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is definitely worth a visit. Fishing is also available nearby. For a little culture why not spend a day visiting York or Beverley which are also close at hand. This well placed cosy cottage can be enjoyed no matter what time of year. Beach 10 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub 200 yards and restaurant 4½ miles.
