Acw House is situated within walking distance to two local friendly pubs which all serve food and also have spacious beer gardens to enjoy. Just over 2 miles is the wonderful beach of Shell Island, there are many miles of stunning beaches in the area to explore including the award-winning first place ’best beach in Britain’ Llandanwg. Bustling Barmouth is just a short drive away; take a walk along the promenade and indulge in some fish and chips. An iconic feature of the town is Barmouth Bridge, an over 150-year-old railway viaduct across the Mawddach Estuary. It is half a mile in length, with a wooden promenade suitable for pedestrians or cyclists which now forms part of the Wales Coast Path and the Lon Las Cymru Cycle Network. Nantcol waterfalls are just 5 miles away and offer a great day out, a perfect place for a family picnic whilst playing in the stream.
