Berwick-upon-Tweed Cottages
Located just 2½ miles from the Anglo-Scottish border, this town is the northernmost town in England. A place that has appealed to artists over the years due to the breathtaking views, ambient light and close proximity to the sea. L.S.Lowry used to holiday here and painted over 30 of his 'matchstick men' pictures in the area.
