Well appointed cottage with plenty of space. Located in quiet rural location yet only minutes from the A1, a couple of miles from a large Tesco and Asda and very easy to travel to all of the key places to visit in this area.

Beautifully presented cottage, practical kitchen and diner. Spacious lounge to relax and good sleeping facilities. Pristine throughout. My only observation is slate table mats and coasters are noisy for children. However, my 3 grandchildren enjoyed their holiday. Excellent directions, had the sun shone it would have been perfect.

Great location but poor Accommodation management no heating in bedrooms or bathrooms at -2C. Poor Caretaker prep

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; The customer arrived and found the heating was not working correctly. An engineer came out the next day and he found that a thermostat had broken in the bedroom. Electric heaters were provided for that room so the customer was not cold. In addition, the wood burning stove was available in the cottage and this gives off a large amount of heat. We feel that the score given is unreasonable as we did all we could in the circumstances. We spoke to the Agency at the time who thought our response and customer care was excellent.
