Find cottages in Tunbridge Wells

The spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells has elegant Regency architecture, lovely green open spaces and has an air of sophistication.

It’s the quintessential English break destination which has, in the past, been popular with both the aristocracy and Royalty. The town has many beautiful Regency villas and grand Victorian houses, surrounded by open green spaces including a lovely 200 acre common right in the town centre.

Famous for its spas, Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area has for years provided holidaymakers with a relaxing break amongst the beautiful rural Kent countryside. And yet it’s only a short train ride from central London.

If you want to be pampered there’s still a number of working spas and relaxation treatments available in Tunbridge Wells and it’s just the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit. The town also offers a wealth of other historic attractions such as Scotney Castle, a wonderful Victorian country house with a moated medieval castle and some of the UK’s finest open gardens, or Bayham Old Abbey, a stunning ruined abbey in a delightful location.

Situated close to London and the High Weald, Tunbridge Wells also offers a wealth of other leisure possibilities if you fancy travelling slightly further afield. How many other destinations can offer the vibrancy of Britain’s cosmopolitan capital one day and a stroll through some of its most gorgeous rural scenery the next? It’s just one of many reasons why we love Tunbridge Wells so much!

If you’re ready to begin your exploration take a look at our featured Tunbridge Wells holiday cottages today.
