An excellent cottage with absolutely everything you would need for a short break. Very warm welcome and fantastic country location. Really enjoyed our stay. Sat nav struggled a little with getting about so best advice is to head towards Welshpool and pick routes from there.

Arrived in a snowstorm and snowed in for 3 days. But we had taken plenty of provisions and had a great time. Tom the owner offered to take us out in his 4x4 but we were very happy just relaxing. Lovely working farm, it was the lambing season. The cottage is really in the middle of nowhere, but central for lots of different places to drive to, including the coast. The stars to be seen in the night sky when it was clear were absolutely incredible.

The y Dderwen at Brynglas farm was a lovely stunning barn conversion with a cosy log fire. And picturesque views over the valley Down to the village . The owners made us feel very welcome and because the farm was a bit difficult to get to with all the snow and ice , tom met us in the village drove us to the farm in his 4x4 until the roads were clear .over all it was a very pleseant stay .
