Second stay at this cottage and cannot fault it in any way. Owners Elori and Gareth are the perfect hosts. A good base for visits to many areas of interest in North wales.

Fantastic cottage owners are lovely people and make you very welcome and they have a fantastic cafe next door. The view from cottage balcony is exceptional and sitting out with a cold drink watching the world go by absolutely the best.

Very welcoming, and spotlessly clean. Great quality bedding and towels plus lovely charming accessories left to be used. We were greeted with a lovely table that was laid out for afternoon tea, so nice. The views across Bala water are stunning. The accommodation is also well placed for easy acces to to town

We were so grateful for the warm welcome from the owner. She went out of her way to accommodate our late arrival and by letting us know about all the local sights and things to do. The cottage was very cosy and characterful, and the location was stunning.

Wonderful stay, couldn't have been made more welcome. Cream tea on arrival together with a hamper of goodies. The cottage is lovely and cosy and fully equipped, we've never been to a place that supplies absolutely everything you could need. The view of the lake is amazing and it's only 15 mins walk into town. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderfully relaxing Christmas week at Y Bwthyn. The cottage is compact, quirky and comfortable, with fabulous views of Bala lake, simply breathtaking!! Only a short walk into the village will bring you shops, pubs & places to eat. Ideally situated for getting out to visit other areas around the Snowdonia region too. We would definately book again & wouldn't hestitate to recommend to friends
