Tucked away in the corner of a barn conversion complex of about 8 units. Car park is a short walk away. Lovely view from car park area. Very good farm shop with cafe a short drive away.

Good accommodation. Lack of amenities and walking for elderly dogs was our only problem. Accommodation good, comfortable, warm, well appointed.

Wonderful - the cottage was perfect and the owners had obviously worked hard on getting it right. Wren Cottage is definitely somewhere we will be going back to. It was really comfortable, clean and tidy and the extra welcoming thing like the scones, milk and cream - and daffodils on the table - were a really nice touch. Well done to the owners.

We enjoyed our stay at wren cottage, but it could have been much better if it had been cleaned better. Due to the cottage being dog friendly which we did not mind when we booked it' as our family own pets, but we found it to smell of dog on the furniture and rugs. There was loose dog hairs on the tiled floors in the bedroom and kitchen/living area. We happened to turned on the oven only to find it smelled of fat and it left the room smelling badly. Could have done with being cleaned properly I think! We returned in the dark, only to find the outside courtesy light was not working and its very dark with no other light. With wren cottage being tucked away in a corner we had to be very careful walking to the door. It was good having a place to park our car. The overall rating would have scored 10 only for cleanliness which is easily fixed!
