With views from the bed through the triangular windows across the valley and the cosy well co-ordinated living room with its wood-burning stove, this cottage has been thoughtfully designed. The landscaped garden has two patio areas with lovely country views; a short path leads to the shared indoor heated swimming pool. Well placed to visit Padstow with Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant, Port Isaac and Tintagel. Close to Bodmin Moor - unspoilt moorland with abundant wildlife. The Camel Trail is just 200 yards away, and guests have use of a bike store also a few yards away. Shops 4 miles, pub 2 miles.

    Wonderful holiday. Relaxing, peaceful, easy to get to the various tourist areas by car. The cottage was perfect for two and the location so quiet and surrounded Ed by great views and walks. Highly recommend this for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

    Superb cottage, the ideal place to relax, with lovely places to see close by. Although shared pool always very quiet. Owners information book superb with great detail.

    Post code takes you further or not far enough down the lane dependant on your approach road, needs to be included in the details for the cottage information. Also the use of narrow lanes to access the cottage, came as quite a shock when we turned off the main highway. Area behind the bed headboard needs a good clean, not easy based on the floor space i know. None of these issues have put us off visiting again. Apart form this the cottage and the holiday was fantastic, it is a beautiful location and well worth the time to get there.

    Response on behalf of the owner; Thanks for your feedback. Both our properties GSE and T13 are about 1.5km off the main road from Wadebridge and situated about 150m from the Camel Trail. I can understand the roads may appear narrow compared to more urban highways but they are normal for Cornwall and all part of the Camel Valley adventure. There are regular passing spaces, very little traffic and the farmers have just trimmed the hedges making them much wider. We hope to see you again.

    A gem of a the middle of the Camel Valley. No WIFi but always good to escape technology. Pool was lovely and easily accessible path to it. Can’t wait to return !!
