The cottage is lovely, beds very comfortable and a better equipped kitchen than mine. Charcoal was provided for the BBQ, lovely fluffy towels. There was a welcome package of eggs, milk, bread and Welsh cakes, and tea and coffee. The cottage is situated about in the middle of the South coast of Gower, which is ideal. You can walk through the woods to Oxwich beach and we had the central part to ourselves, in sunshine, in August! The children met the owner's pet sheep and collected eggs. Everyone we met was helpful and cheerful. We tried the local archery, which was excellent and much recommended, also the cafe there. There could be a few more facilities like this to occupy teenagers. There are few dog free beaches (unfortunately for me). I recommend Mewslade, which is as perfect as a beach gets. Access not for the faint-hearted, though and no facilities.Good The cottage cost more than twice as much as I have ever paid before, but was definitely superior.

Lovely cottage in a great location, very well presented with a lovely welcome package. One of the cleanest places we have stayed. A great base for exploring the Gower, would highly recommend.
