Both properties have a private terraced area, with a shared elevated lawned area, and the site is fully enclosed with fencing, ideal for those with pets or children. Glastonbury Town Trail and Glastonbury Rural Walk can be followed with ease. Attractions in Glastonbury include climbing up the tor for magnificent views, the Chalice Well and Rural Life Museum, the high street itself encompassing the myths, legends and spiritual ambience of the town, as well as the famous abbey. The city of Wells with its cathedral and Bishops Palace is within a 20-minute drive, as are The Royal Bath and West Showground at Shepton Mallet and Wookey Hole Caves. The Fleet Air Museum at Yeovilton and Cheddar Gorge are approximately a 30-minute drive. For retail therapy, the factory outlet centre of Clarks Village in Street is a 20-minute drive away. The cities of Bath and Bristol are both within an hours’ drive. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Excellent location for getting to Glastonbury, Wells and Shepton Mallet and virtually next door to the Festival site. Parking at the Cottage was generous and on gravel/chippings rather than grass and mud. There was a selection of towels and water bowls for a dog if you forget to bring them with you. The outdoor area (grass and paved) is secure unless you have a very small dog who likes to wriggle through the wire sections at the bottom of the gate. The outdoor space is shared with the other holiday cottage (semi-detached) which isn't a problem unless your dog is inclined to wander as it might be possible that someone else might leave a gate open by mistake, unfortunately for us we have terrier who is very happy to wander off especially with sheep around! The cottage was comfortable and good sized with two large sofa's to lounge on. The kitchen area was stocked with a good selection of crockery and pans and cutlery. Plenty of hot water for washing up and bathing. Nice clean bathroom. As commented in other reviews I found the double bed mattress uncomfortable and didn't sleep well the whole week but in all fairness I find most beds uncomfortable except my own super sprung and padded bed so I only mention this in case someone else suffers the same kind of thing. It was very quiet and peaceful and possible to enjoy a nice walk from the cottage of a balmy evening.

Loved it here! Everything you could need, the accommodation was well thought out - including the glazing, stairgates and blackout curtains in the gallery bedrooms making it perfect for kids. Lovely locsl walks and pub, a few minutes drive to a shop. Loads to do within 30mins. Beautiful garden, all the kids loved it, we had beautiful weather and skipped a beach trip to stay at home with a paddling pool!

Good accommodation for family get together. Only one toilet and bathroom but wasn't really a problem. Stairs were very steep so only for the young and nimble. Again, not really a problem. WiFi was up and down so perhaps router needs changing. Very homely though and nice touch with milk and biscuits on arrival.

I loved the overall appearance of the cobbles. There was lots of parking space, the open plan living dining and kitchen area was really nice. The bedroom was nice but the double bed mattress needs replacing, far to soft and springy. The bathroom was nice and the shower had fantastic pressure! The kitchen was very well equipped. They had a games cupboard which was a added bonus. There was a good selection of books to. The Wi-Fi wasn't to clever but the kids were happy. Dog bowls and towels supplied for the dog which was a lovely touch:) when we arrived there was biscuits, tea , coffee, sugar and milk waiting for us thank you :)
