St Mawes is one of the finest waterside villages in Cornwall. Situated overlooking an idyllic bay on the eastern side of the famous Falmouth Estuary, St Mawes has one of the mildest climates in Britain due to its proximity to the Gulf Stream. There are miles of coastal and countryside walks to take in and some idyllic beaches on which to relax and watch the world go by. The little Place Ferry takes visitors to explore St Anthony’s Head or there are regular ferries to Falmouth. There is a selection of pubs and restaurants all within easy walking distance, as well as a range of shops including Post Office, butchers, chemist, art, book and clothes shops. Beach ½ mile.
The owner has an annexe to the side of the Ground Floor which is occupied occasionally for their own use. Beach ½ miles.
