The attractive market towns of Bakewell and Buxton and Matlock, Matlock Bath and Ashbourne are all within a 20-minute drive of the property. Attractions within a 25-minute drive include Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Peak Wildlife Park, Heights of Abraham and Buxton Opera House. There is a bus stop just down the lane where you can catch the Buxton to Ashbourne bus, a scenic route which takes you through pretty Peak District villages such as Tissington, Longnor, Hartington and Warslow.
