This delightful cottage nestles in an AONB, close to the coastal town of Mundesley.

White House Farm Holiday Cottages, (refs UKC150, UKC151 and UKC1627), lie just 2 miles from the seaside village of Mundesley, with its wonderful quiet, sandy beach and less than 15 miles from the Norfolk Broads. Nestled in the stunning countryside, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, these cottages have been comfortably furnished and equipped to provide home from home holiday accommodation, making a perfect choice at any time of year. They stand in the owner’s grounds, boasting their own privacy and enclosed gardens (the garden of Flint Barn, UKC1627, is fenced by stock wire to contain dogs). There is excellent walking and cycling opportunities, direct from the door. A network of quiet lanes surround the area and there are many footpaths and trails nearby. Knapton is a quiet, rural village, just a few minutes’ drive from the sandy beaches of Mundesley, Trimmingham and Sidestrand. The delightful beach at Trimingham is just 6 minutes drive away with the spectacular beaches at Holkham and Wells-next-the Sea also nearby. The charming coastal town of Mundesley is just a short drive with Happisburgh and Sheringham also within easy reach. A visit to the quintessential seaside town of Cromer is a must do, topped off with fish and chips from the legendary Mary Janes! The town is 7 miles away, with a sandy beach, promenade, pier, RNLI working lifeboat station, museum, zoo park, golf course and the town centre with shops, cafés and restaurants. Award-winning Gunton Arms, set in a one thousand acre deer park and the locally acclaimed Vernon Arms are both a short drive as are day boats on the Norfolk Broads. Dog walkers will welcome the close proximity of Bacton Woods, 280 acres of woodland just 15 minutes by car, with its three waymarked walks to leisurely seek out the 200-year-old trees. The bustling market town of North Walsham is 4 miles and offers shops, supermarkets and a train station with a service to Norwich city. The cathedral city of Norwich is 19 miles and offers excellent shops with two indoor shopping malls, theatre, castle museum, cathedral, market square, cafés and fine restaurants. Wroxham, the capital of the Norfolk Broads is 14 miles for daily boat hire and river trips, waterside restaurants, cafés and shops. There is a village shop and pub in Trunch, 1 mile away and two pubs in Mundesley, approximately 2 miles away. Shop and pub serving food 1 mile.
The Granary (UKC150), Wallages Cottage (UKC151) and Flint Barn (UKC1627) can be booked together to accommodate up to 14 guests.

    Hi lovely home from home ,but the only down side was it could have been cleaned a little more .. lots of cobwebs behind sofa and in bedrooms otherwise ideal for a break away from the working week , defiantly recommend to all..regards ..

    We had a lovely 2.5 week stay at the cottage. The garden was fantastic for the pugs and safe. Brilliant beach & woodland walks for us all, all within a 10 mile radius. We were made very welcome on arrival and would definitely recommend the cottage to friends, especially those with dogs.

    Lovely cottage. Things we would change - door latches and squeaky shower door. Difficult to walk into village with dogs as very near road and. No path. On the whole lovely. Very clean.

    A pleasant cottage, but garden and patio not "dog proof" meaning the dog could not be left on his own in the garden. Furniture rather tired but clean and all necessary equipment there. No shop within village but great beaches within 5 minutes drive. Car essential.

    Response on behalf of the owner: Thank you for your feedback, the patio is for the exclusive use of our guests, which is fenced in to a certain height, if your dogs are large or jumpers is it possible for them to jump the fence. The garden is provided as an extra area for play and is fenced in on 3 sides and 1 of hedging. There is a pub, a shop and a social club within 1 mile in Trunch along a quiet lane. Further shops and pubs 2 miles in Mundesley.

    Perfect pet friendly cottage, very comfortable with a homely feel, great location, short drive to beach and woodland walks, perfect for dogs! Great facilities, lovely shower. No problems at all. Lovely friendly owner, no disturbances, we will 100% be re booking for 2019!

    We had a fantastic stay, the fact that the weather was terrible, cold, wet and miserable and we still enjoyed ourselves said a lot. Fantastic welcome, we met the owners who explained all we needed to know. Property was really warm and cosy. Great for dogs, everywhere welcomed them, a real noticeable acceptance of dogs everywhere we went. Only one grumble, it is a minor one but one to be voiced for the business they have come in and prepare the cottages, expecting us to clean up after ourselves is acceptable but being asked to strip down the beds was a first - took me back to military camps!
